Collonil get on board with double-winners

Hygiene and shoe-care company become VfL ChampionsPartner.

In an important development for VfL Women, Collonil are joining forces with the She-Wolves to become a VfL ChampionsPartner for 2020/21. The Berlin-based company  produces and distributes a variety of shoe-care products, and since the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic has also been producing hygiene and disinfectant products, which will now be available at She-Wolves home matches for the teams, staff and fans to use. “We are delighted to have found a partner in Collonil who are keen to support women’s football and to explore new paths in terms of sports sponsorship,” said Steffen Grupp, Head of Sponsoring and Events for VfL, at the unveiling of the new and exclusive partner for the women’s team. “Collonil have built up a reputation for high-quality shoe-care products, but in recent months during the Coronavirus pandemic, they have shown courage and business acumen by expanding their range to include disinfectant and hygiene products. This was a brave move and one which corresponds perfectly with the values of VfL Wolfsburg, and which is why we believe that this will be a profitable partnership for both sides.”

Significant presence on team kit

Managing partner of Collonil Frank Becker was also delighted with his company’s partnership with Wolfsburg, saying: “VfL Women have an excellent image both on the domestic and the international front and have built a reputation for success on the field. Like VfL Women, Collonil are active in Germany and abroad, so we already have common ground.”

As well as featuring on the LED strips and in the AOK Stadion, Collonil will have a significant presence on the team kit. “We will be part of VfL Women’s UEFA Women’s Champions League campaign on the sleeves of the shirt and are obviously looking forward to winning plenty of matches with them,” said Becker. “Our company logo will also be added to the VfL Women training kit.”
