All matches in the Bundesliga have been suspended with immediate effect.
On Friday afternoon, the German Football League (DFL) took the decision to postpone all fixtures in the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 scheduled for this weekend, in light of the latest developments surrounding the coronavirus pandemic.
As such, the Wolves’ match away to FC Augsburg, which was due to be held on Sunday 15 March, will no longer take place. It is not yet known when the rearranged games will played.
VfL Managing Director Jörg Schmadtke: “We are in full agreement with the DFL’s decision. Given the current situation and the unpredictable future course of the epidemic, it’s a systematic and logical decision, and the only right one that could be made.”
