Hansen on target in Norway defeat.

The Swiss national team, with their three Lady-Wolves Vanessa Bernauer, Lara Dickenmann and Noelle Maritz, are making leaps and bounds towards the 2019 World Cup finals in France. The side coached by Martina Voss-Tecklenburg convinced once again against Albania and, with Noelle Maritz in action over the entire ninety minutes, ran out eventual 5-1 winners in their qualifier. Vanessa Bernauer was replaced at the break, whilst Lara Dickenmann was rested due to a muscular problem. After four Group 2 games, the Swiss top the table ahead of Scotland and Poland, with the full complement of twelve points.

Norway squander 2-0 lead

Caroline Hansen and the Norwegian national team, on the other hand, suffered a frustrating test friendly 2-3 (2-0) defeat to Canada. Ina Gausdal and Hansen handed Norway a 2-0 advantage going into the break, which the Scandinavians then went on to squander during the course of the second period.
