Oscar Ahumada on his way

VfL Wolfsburg has announced that they have parted company with their Argentinean player Oscar Ahumada with immediate effect. The 22 year old South American never made the breakthrough to the Wolves’ first team during his six month spell at the club. He will return to Buenos Aires River Plate, the club he joined Wolfsburg from. The Argentine only made four short appearances as a substitute whilst at Wolfsburg.

Last straw

Ahumada was seen in a disco late at night just two days before the Bundesliga match against Bayer Leverkusen. His departure means that the Wolves have only two Argentinean players left, striker Diego Klimowicz and midfield general Andres D’Alessandro.
