Klimo is a realist

- Klimowicz: Unsung hero
He is the man for the crucial goals. His 19th minute winner in the sold-out AOL Arena was Diego Klimowicz’ 44th for the Wolves He is the all time goal scorer at the club. It was the tall striker’s fifth Bundesliga goal of the season. The 31 year old Argentinean goal getter said after the match was over: “The team played sensationally today, we were far better than HSV.” Now his compatriots within the Wolves squad are demanding that Klimo get a chance at international level: “He deserves a chance to play for Argentina”, reckons the little midfield general Andres D’Alessandro.
Diego is a modest man
Klimowicz, who joined the Wolves from Atletico Lanus in 2001, is known for being a quiet and modest man. It was hardly surprising then as he had the following to say about his prospects of playing for his beloved Argentina: “I’d love to play for my country, but my chances of achieving that are not very good. I am 31 years of age, and the youngsters have to come first.”
