Fach: "We played badly"

Holger Fach (VfL Wolfsburg): "My team played very poorly. We almost begged them to equalise during the second half. The fact that they scored so late on in the game can be put down to bad luck. I knew that we were not going to win the game the way we were playing."

Wolfgang Wolf (1. FC Nürnberg): "It is a bitter fact that we are going home with a solitary point. We were the better side and had several good chances in the second half. At least my team got their late reward for their effort."
