The club has announced that it is on the verge of making an 8th new signing. On Sunday (28.08.05), VfL Wolfsburg agreed a deal with the Brazilian club Corinthians Sao Paulo to take their 19 year old striker Adailton Pereira Coelho, or "Abuda" as he is known, to the VOLKSWAGENARENA. The youngster is expected to arrive in Wolfsburg on Tuesday, where he will undergo a medical at the Bundesliga club. 

Three year deal

Abuda is expected to sign a three year deal at his new club who have an option of a further two years. The transfer fee for the player, who hails from Sao Luis, is believed to be a lower six figure one. Abuda is eligible to play in the Bundesliga right away.
