VfL-manager Thomas Strunz has denied newspaper reports which stated that he is not paying enough money for his children Lucia (6) and Tommy (4). "Of course I pay for my kids. The amount was agreed with my ex wife and is well above the amount in the Düsseldorf table. It is up to her if she wants to challenge it. As far as I know, there are no legal proceedings in progress regarding the matter. Should I be told to pay more, I will of course do just that," says Strunz.
