Happy birthday Hans!

Today is the 29th birthday of the Wolves defensive all-rounder Hans Sarpei. The Ghana-born playe joined the Wolves from Duisburg in 2001. To date Sarpei has 87 Bundesliga games under his belt, and made 21 first team appearances for the Wolves last season, mostly helping out onm the left hand side of defence. Sarpei was as solid playing there as he was in his favoured position of defensive midfield.

International success

Hans Sarpei can also be satisfied with his performances in a Ghana shirt. After a 2-0 win over South Africa in a recent World Cup qualifier, Ghana top the table in Africa group 2. Ghana has a good chance of making the finals in Germany in 2006.
