"The project is designed to enable kids in Columbia to receive education," explained the 23 year old player.

Worthy cause

In order to collect as much money as possible, Maik Franz has been collecting shirts from the Bundesliga and the second and third divisions. All shirts have been signed by all the players belonging to the clubs in question: "The shirts will be auctioned on the Internet, and all proceeds will go to the Columbian kids, "added Franz.
