Stefan Schnoor to stay in Wolfsburg

The former Wolves skipper Stefan Schnoor (33)  is to stay at VfL Wolfsburg for a further year, the club has announced. The announcement was made following a chat between the player and the club manager Thomas Strunz. Schnoor’s current contract contains a clause which stipulates that should he make twenty first team appearances for the Wolves this season, his contract would be automatically extended by a further year. The 1-5 defeat away to VfL Bochum in round 26 was Schnoor’s 20th appearance in a Wolves shirt this season.
